Paul L. Engstrom, EA, FSA, MAAA
Paul is the principal founder of IAI. Since selling the company to three of its employees in 2005, he has continued to work on a somewhat less than full time basis, although not as much less as he thought.
Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, and has over 38 years of experience in retirement plan actuarial work. He helps everyone else with remembering relevant facts from the past and researching new developments as they occur. He continues his long standing relationships with several clients and is involved in training and development of new staff and filling such other gaps as they occur.
Most of all, Paul is proud of the organization and people that have become IAI and enjoys continuing to be a part of that.
In his “off” hours he swims and plays as much golf as he can.
