Kerry Smith, ASA, EA, MAAA
Kerry earned her Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas and her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Baylor University. Kerry also studied classical music in college and played the clarinet in everything from orchestra to jazz band.
Kerry’s specialties and areas of interest include designing proposals and working with aggregate plan designs, like floor offset and cash balance plans. She loves the collaborative work environment at Independent Actuaries, and each opportunity to communicate with her clients and help them meet their retirement goals.
Outside of work, Kerry loves spending time with her husband and two children, running with her dog, and being outside as much as possible.
